Mad Hatter tea party - Seattle children's photographer

Best Blogger Tips
Pin It Planning a meetup with other local photographers is always such a fun thing to do! Generally we try to plan a "theme" based day, and everyone just sort of brings props/clothes etc to fit with the theme. Half the fun is finding out what everyone has brought, and setting up. Then the real fun starts when we try to get all the various kiddos to play!

This most recent one was based on Alice in Wonderlands "Mad Hatter tea party". I think all in all it turned out pretty good! We lucked out with no rain, however the wind was so strong the props and table displays were always landing on the ground. The kids did great, and we had pretty much all the major characters represented.

How fun!  There are some amazing shots here, and the Mad Hatter costume is great!!  The image with the girl in the hat with the purple scarf is amazing!  Such a great shot that speaks so much to me.  I can't put my finger on what I love about it, and that makes it all the better :)

Hi Sylvia!  What fun this is!!!  I am living here in Oahu now (been here 8 months!) but grew up and lived in the Seattle/Eastside area all my life!  So many wonderful places to shoot, but the weather always a challenge for an outdoor/natural light shooter!  What location is this?  Looks great and you all made it very festive and bright with all the great props!  What a great idea to have a theme for all you photographers!  Kudos and beautiful, lovely images!

Hi Sue, you are right about the weather challenges here! We expected rain, but got wind instead:) This was in Bothell at North Creek Park. All done under a big huge tree there! Thanks for your visit!
