Photog meetup and shoot-out

Best Blogger Tips
Pin It This has been my first year to get active with some of my Facebook local groups. I belong to a few, and every once in awhile a meet up is planned to meet other locals and share info/network/complain/take photos. It sort of depends on what our Seattle weather is doing on that day.
Sometimes we just meet for coffee, and other times we try to plan a fun shooting day.
This particular day, the weather was iffy and changing from minute to minute...but we didn't cancel.

A small and brave group of us met at Discovery Park and encouraged,  bribed, pleaded with the kids to be our models:). It was lightly sprinkling at first, then got to the point that we finally called it quits. In a majority of these images, I think if you look closely, you'll see the rain drops.
Better luck for us next time! And we do have a big fun themed event for the next one. Be on the look out!!

and this was what the kids looked like as they were hoping the rain would stop!

Don't my friends have the cutest kids? Can't wait for the next meet-up!

I am really impressed with your Blog. All pictures are so beautiful. Having the capacity to capture these sort of photos is really a learned skill and will require the work of a professional photographer who has perfected their instinct for figuring out beautiful photographs based on what is happening right at that time together with the light and surrounds.
