The timing couldn't have been better, since my daughter had just had a baby recently (my first grandchild). I wanted to have them made, and surprise her with them.
So I picked some paper packs that color coordinated with her nursery, added a few of my own to round out the green and blue color scheme, and picked the photos.
I sent all the files to Michele Horne who makes the blocks and sells them in her Etsy shop.
A few weeks later, I get the package in the mail. And it just so happens that my daughter had surprised me with a drop in visit on that very day! How perfect is that?
I was debating on keeping them for a surprise for her first Mother's day, but I couldn't. She has the perfect little shelves up on the wall to display them, and I can't wait to see them there in person!
Here's a few shots of them before they disappeared out my door!
And be sure and check out Michele's shop on Etsy!
